Quitting Tobacco
Complete the Quit for Life tobacco cessation program through Optum and pay a lower rate for your medical coverage.

Wellness Incentive
Samsung provides you with rewards to help you make choices that improve your health and can lead to a better quality of life.
Wellness credit
You can earn a $12 per paycheck wellness credit in 2027 by completing the Rally Wellness health survey and at least one activity by October 31, 2026.
Before you begin
Keep these points in mind as you complete your health activities:
- This wellness program is available to all employees enrolled in a Samsung medical plan through UHC or Kaiser.
- All wellness rewards, reimbursements or incentives are considered taxable income.
How to earn your wellness credit
- Register or log in to the Rally platform to participate.
- When you log in or register for the first time, you’ll see a Rally Wellness health survey to complete.
- You also can access the survey under the Explore tab, where you can track all reward activities.
- Go to Rewards > Employer Rewards to view your activity details and track your completion status.
You must complete the health survey before you can see earned incentives from other activities. You may complete other activities before the survey, but you must complete the survey before you can receive the wellness credit.
Medical plan tobacco surcharge and support
If you or your spouse/domestic partner identify as using tobacco, a surcharge will be added to your bi-weekly medical premiums. This is a $20 surcharge for one tobacco user and $40 for two.
You can get the surcharge waived by completing the Quit for Life Program. This free, personalized program from Optum helps you quit tobacco. After you successfully complete the program, the surcharge will be waived for the rest of the year.

Free counseling
You, your dependents and household members can each access up to 10 coaching or therapy sessions per year through Optum, at no cost to you.

Virtual counseling
You, your dependents and household members each get up to 10 counseling sessions per issue per year. Sessions are available in 30- or 60-minute periods by phone or video.

Worksite counseling
Employees have an unlimited number of 30- and 60-minute in-person counseling sessions onsite where they work. Schedule an appointment online or call 1-800-622-7276.
